It is the coating around the baby in the womb that provides nutrients and protection for the emerging child.
#2 It is rare that a baby makes it out of the womb with the amniotic sac in tact
But, as you can see, this child was born fully enclosed in the sac he grew up in for presumably nine months.

#3 The newborn could be seen moving within the sac
But, the newborn had technically not been born yet, as strange as that seems.
#4 Technically, a child is not born until the sac is broken
That is when it takes its first breath in the new world, changing from the fetus to the newborn child.
