Mom Flatlines After Getting Badly Injured In A Car Accident, Sees Her Dead Son

Denise Dickerson almost died when she was involved in a deadly car accident that resulted in the loss of her leg. Dickerson lost 90% of her blood and almost lost her battle against death and at one point was even declared clinically dead and had to be revived. Dickerson recalls, the moment she flatlined she saw her son Kody, who died in a car accident. In her vision, Kody told Dickerson that he loves heaven.

#1 Rescuing A Family Of Six

Denise Dickerson, a woman from Oklahoma was on her way back home in 2011 when she saw a car trapped in a ditch. Worried, Dickerson quickly pulled over and helped save the family of six. Just as Dickerson was heading back towards her car, another car lost it's control and headed straight towards Dickerson.

#2 Every Bone Below Her Waist Was Broken

Dickerson says, "They were going too fast for conditions and lost control and hit my car somewhere between 55 and 60 mph, with me in between them. I broke every bone below my waist except my femur. The bones in my lower legs looked like sawdust."

#3 Lost 90% Of Her Blood

The accident left Dickerson in severely critical condition and she lost 90% of her blood as a result of it. The mom of two was so badly injured that she was clinically dead for several seconds before she had to be revived.

#4 Meeting Her Dead Son

Explaining the incident, Dickerson recalls the moment she flatlined she saw her son Kody. Kody died in a car accident two years prior to Dickerson's accident. Recalling the moment Dickerson says she a big round light with her son Kody beside it, "I saw a gold chair off to the right with a big round light in it. I can’t describe anything that was in the chair, just the big round light. And Kody came walking up." Dickerson recalls her son was grinning and told her that how much he loves heaven. "Mom, I love it here and I’m so happy."

#5 Dickerson Is Now The Main Star Of Her Aerobics Class

Luckily Dickerson survived the fatal accident and she lost her leg in the accident she is well and alive. Dickerson is now the main star of her aerobics class and it is remarkable considering the fact that she has only one leg. "I’m the bionic woman, pretty much, I'm loaded with hardware. You have to find blessings, even in the little things and keep going."
