Parenting has never been an easy task in my opinion. I have never tried to bring any phase in my parents life where they would have got tensed because of me. But, parents are parents, sometimes they get concerned about small things and, it happens with me also every now and then.
Same was the case with this mum who was concerned with her son's late-night outing. She asked him where he was? And his revert to mum was a big trouble for himself.
Parenting has never been easy - but technology can help when it comes to keeping tabs on unruly teenagers.
But it backfired on one mum who asked her son to send her a picture of him proving where he was.
The unidentified boy replied with a photograph of his friends - one was playing a video game while the other appeared to be holding something to his mouth.
The worried mum replied: "What Sam smoking".
Her son zoomed the picture in on pal Sam's face to reveal he was in fact sipping from a foil pouch drink and sent it with the caption: "a Capri sun".
The text exchange was shared online and has been viewed more than 400,000 times .
Fortunately for his mum, many agreed with her with one saying: "To be fair, I assumed it was a vape."
Another said: "In this day and age, I'm not even mad. Parenting isn't easy. You may not agree but she's trying."
Some eagle-eyed commenters were quick to point out that the messages were sent at 12am, but the clock in the back of the picture showed it was 10:30.
