#1 The vanishing drape.

Remember the memorable scene where Christopher Plummer's character throws the drape that the children were using for clothing on the ground? Well after he walks away the drape just magically vanishes.

#2 Leisl's sneak in.

When Leisl sneaks in through the window and has to explain herself to Maria, her position beside the bed changes every time the camera angle switches.

#3 The pre-planned flag rip.

When Captain Von Trapp rips the Nazi flag, you can clearly see him looking for the proper place to tear as the flag had previously been cut and prepared for him.

#4 Trust me, there's a lot more.

#5 The disappearing coat.

During the iconic "My Favorite Things" number, a coat that is placed on a chair in the background disappears completely with no explanation.

#6 Kurt's Do-Re-Fail.

At the end of the Do-Re-Mi scene Kurt fails to reach the top step along with everyone else. He can be seen stepping up to join everyone else after the song has ended.

#7 The Von Trapp family's nasty eating habits.

In the film, the family is shown cutting up their food with a fork and knife before putting the knife down and only eating with a fork. At the time in which this film is supposed to take place, a family of their rank would be frowned upon for such poor etiquette.

#8 The glass magic trick.

When Max asks the Captain to let his children sing in the festival, the Captain walks around the table, picks up a glass and says, "Max..."Then the shot changes, and the Captain isn't holding a glass anymore, but rather a bottle.

In one scene, Mother Abbess is singing next to a window, however when the camera angle changes the window is gone and there is nothing left but a brick wall.

When Maria sings in front of the church in Salzburg you can clearly see zebra crossings behind her. These weren't adopted until 1951.

#11 Pre-soaked flooring issues.

When the kids and Julie Andrews enter the house soaking wet, you can see that the floors are already wet from previous takes.

#12 Friedrich hair transformation.

After filming the "My Favorite Things" number, the filmmakers decided that they wanted Friedrich's hair to be lighter, so they dyed it. However, they never went back and re-filmed the previous scenes, so his hair is often different shades throughout the entire film.

#13 Marta's mistake.

In the scene where Gretl runs up to Uncle Max to ask him if they can keep the puppet show, Marta can be seen in the background missing her cue. She starts to run into the scene too early, stops herself, then continues.
