A woman in Guangzhou, China, was devastated to find her son was born with an eye condition which means he has little or no eye tissue.
The condition Anophthalmia affects one in every 100,000 children, according to NHS, and it means that the boy will never be able to see.
The child's mother, named Liu Peihua, gave birth on September 20 and is now talking with specialists at a larger hospital in Guangzhou to get a thorough examination of the baby, reports the People's Daily Online.
