At the beginning of the year, astrologers like to release broad horoscopes for each sign that gives them a general idea of what kind of year they have in store. Typically they're a variety of positive predictions that encourage each sign to make smart choices for themselves — it's a very duh kinda thing if you ask me. While I might not believe full heartedly in the validity of astrological readings, I do believe in the power of positive thought. That said, if my horoscope tells me that I need to force myself to get out there more and take more chances, I'm all about it. It's never advice to put your self out there. And that's how I feel about most horoscope readings — they're just a variety of timelessly good advice. No harm, no foul, right?
Rather than just regurgitate another round up of horoscopes that you might have already read on the Internet, I offer you a little bit of that, PLUS some motivational and corresponding quotes from verses of theme-appropriate poems – one for each sign to help you really get inspired in the new year. There's nothing like having the words of a great writer to help you stay focused and positive on a great new year. If you really want to secure yourself some good fortune, write down your verse in a notebook to really help ingrain the sentiment.
