The latest video of popular YouTuber Jimmy 'MrBeast' Donaldson curing 1,000 people of their blindness and transforming lives around the globe surprised everyone.
Unfortunately, not everyone has access to the medical treatment they require in the world we live in.
But MrBeast was there to help 1,000 blind individuals at least regain their sight, and the outcomes were simply amazing. The astonishing video was introduced by MrBeast, also known as Jimmy Donaldson, 24, who said that while some blindness is irreversible, in many situations it may be treated with a simple procedure.
He explained in the video: "They can't see but we have all the technology to fix this."
A doctor then replied: "Half of all the blindness in the world is people who need a 10-minute surgery."
The generous YouTuber continued by describing in detail what happens during the quick yet significant surgery.
He said: "If you're wondering how the surgery allows people to see again, it's because the lens in their eyes is so cloudy that they can't see through it.”
"So the surgeon uses a tiny vacuum to suck up the clouded lens. And replace it with an artificial one. The surgery is that simple! They can see again."
One of the recipients of the YouTuber's kindness looked down at his wrist to see his watch and explained that he'd never been able to see it before. This led to some pretty amazing sights as people had their sight restored in the video.
Another man said, "I can see everybody's faces now," before he joked, "[They're] a little blurry with my tears coming out."
As you can expect, the video received a lot of attention on the social media site, and even though it was posted not long ago, it has already received a whopping 20 million views.
In response to the popular video, one fan thanked MrBeast, the YouTube user with the most followers, writing: "Funny How Jimmy Is better than 99% politicians out there [sic]."
"He went from giving people stuff and crazy challenges to changing people's lives for the better. This is amazing," added a second.
"I myself have very bad eyesight and I really understand the people you helped," shared a third. "This is absolutely incredible and deserves a lot of respect."
"What an incredible person you are Jimmy, you deserve all this success," wrote a fourth, while a fifth added: "Hope you do more of these things for the world. Much appreciated!"
