Face Scrub

Add lemon peels to your regular scrub or make a scrub out of the lemon peel by mixing the peels with some sugar, baking soda, and olive oil to make a paste, and scrubbing the skin with it. The skin feels absolutely clean as it is free of dead and dry skin.

Nail Whitener

Turn these peels into a whitening agent by rubbing the nails with the inside of lemon peels. The nails leave the yellowness and turn white and sparkling clean.

Age Spots

Minimize the appearance of age spots by rubbing lemon peels on them. Be careful not to expose it to the sun. With regular use, the age spots diminish and reduce considerably.

Dark Elbows

Take half a lemon from which the juice has been extracted. Add some baking soda to it and start rubbing the elbows in a circular motion. Regular use will lighten the dark elbows.

Skin Tonic

These peels are a great tonic as they can freshen up a dull and dark face. Rub them all over the face, the zest imparts all its nutrients to the skin, reduces all blemishes and dark spots and the face shines with a lovely glow.

Exfoliating Body Massage

Take 1/2 cup of sugar, a grated lemon peel, some olive oil, and make a thick paste. Wet the body and massage this paste on the body in circular motions. Leave for an hour and take a shower. The skin will feel clean and smooth.

Foot Soak

Boil the lemon peels in water for 20 minutes. Cool and strain the water, and to this water add 1/2 milk, 2 tab olive oil and a few drops of lemon essential oil and soak your feet for 20 minutes. The sore feet will be relaxed and all the tiredness and pain will vanish.

Teeth Whitener

Rub the inner portion of the lemon zest on the teeth enamel and get a whiter, shinier teeth. Care should be taken not to do it very often as the tooth enamel can get damaged.

The peels can be rubbed on the hair strands to lighten their shade, it is a favorite with brunettes who like to lighten their dark tresses.

Anti Dandruff

Rub lemon peels on the scalp and then shampoo off. Doing this regularly for a few weeks, will eradicate dandruff totally from the scalp.
