Are you a Friends' fan too? Then you should probably get ready to feel stupid as it has been found that in one episode of the hit series, Rachel was replaced with another person and no one ever came to know about this!
No One Noticed That Rachel Was Replaced With A Complete Stranger In This Friends Episode
It appears that we have all been fooled by our all-time favorite Friends' cast and that too for over 10 years!
Yes, all Friend's fans were unaware until now that the hit series makers had replaced Rachel in its one episode with a totally strange actress who was not at all like our lovely Rachel.
And this is not the first time we have been tricked.
Previously, it was discovered that in one Friends episode, Monica was not the real Monica and Phoebe was seen talking to the actress's look-alike. It turned out that Courtney Cox was replaced with some random person in that episode and we all had been fooled.
But this time the mistake is so big that it has left us feeling like we have been blind all this time and the credit for the great revelation goes to one genius fan Jordan D’Amico who noticed Aniston's look-alike in season nine, first episode.
D'Amico explained the error scene on RecentlyHeard.
"Only a few minutes into the episode, an enthusiastic Rachel rushes into Monica’s apartment to tell Joey that he got an audition with the famous and fictional actor, Leonard Hayes, played by Jeff Goldblum. The three friends admit to admiring the actor for his cell phone commercials in which he starred opposite a monkey. Monica zealously posits that perhaps the monkey will be at the audition. Joey reacts by saying, ‘Don’t make me more nervous than I already am!’ and goes to sit back down."
"It’s at this point that… BAM!"
One other observant fan has another explanation that sounds quite a reasonable one proving that we might not be as deluded as we think.
"I'm guessing she was not actually seen when it originally aired on TV as it was framed for the 4:3 format," Matt tweeted.
Most probably, it is because of our dear Netflix that D'Amico was able to notice the fake Rachel.
After all the errors that have been revealed, a question springs to every Friends fan's mind: How many times have we been fooled and were there fake Chandler, Joey and Ross in the show too?
