A teenager who was brutally attacked by a brown bear and her cubs made a heart-wrenching phone call to her mom during her final moments.

19-year-old Olga Moskalyova called her mother not once, but three separate times, while the attack unfolded, forcing her mom to endure the horrifying moments over the phone.

The tragic incident took place back in 2011 while Olga was on a fishing trip with her stepfather, Igor Tsyganenkov.

Family Handout

The pair had gone to a river in the village of Termalniy, near Petropavlovsk Kamchatskiy, in eastern Siberia to retrieve a fishing rod that Igor had left behind earlier.

It seemed like a normal trip, which is why Olga’s mom, Tatiana, was caught completely off-guard when her daughter suddenly called her out of the blue.

According to the Daily Star, Olga’s chilling words were: "Mom, the bear is eating me! Mom, it's such agony. Mom, help!'"

At first, Tatiana thought Olga might be joking, but then she started hearing disturbing noises like 'chewing' in the background.

She later revealed: "I heard the real horror and pain in Olga's voice, and the sounds of a bear growling and chewing. I could have died then and there from shock."

What Tatiana didn’t know during that call was that Igor had already been killed, with his neck broken and head smashed by the bear.

Olga had witnessed the attack on her stepfather and tried to run, but the mother bear caught up with her, grabbing her leg.

Despite the terrifying situation, Olga managed to get her mom back on the phone, and over the span of three separate calls, Tatiana listened helplessly to her daughter’s desperate pleas for help.

In the second call, Olga told her mom: "Mum, the bears are back. She came back and brought her three babies. They're... eating me."

Almost an hour later, during what would be the final call, it became clear that Olga could no longer fight.

She told her mother: "Mum, it's not hurting any more. I don't feel the pain. Forgive me for everything, I love you so much."

During this time, Tatiana had already called the police and contacted relatives in the village, urging them to rush to the river.

But by the time Igor’s brother arrived with authorities, it was too late—Olga had already been killed and the bears were still feeding on her body.

In the wake of her daughter’s tragic death, Tatiana shared her grief and love for Olga, saying: "My daughter was such fun.

"She was so cheerful, friendly, and warm. She had graduated from music school, and just days before the bear attack she got her driving licence."
