Paedophile Who Repeatedly Abused A 5-Year-Old Child Found Dead Weeks After Being Jailed

#1 Paedophile, 22 Found Dead In His Jail Cell

22-year-old Briton Daniel Davey was found dead in his HMP Bullingdon in Oxfordshire on January 12 after the man was convicted for his crime on December 1. Doley was found guilty of abusing a five-year-old child.

#2 Death Will Be Investigated

According to the country's Ministry of Justice, Davey's death will come under investigation by the Prison Service Ombudsman. An inquest into the incident is already opened, the details of which are not opened yet.

#3 Victim's Family Came Forward With The Charges

The appaling crime came to light when the five-year-old child who was abused multiple times by Davey told the truth to his mother, who then took the matter to the authorities. After the testing, the Police discovered Davey's DNA on the boy's underwear.

Prosecutor Charles Thomas during the hearing told the judge about how Davey sexually abused the child multiple times while he was babysitting the kid for the family.

#4 Convicted For His Crime

Through further investigation, the jury was also informed of an account where a witness had seen an image of a man sexually abusing a 13-year old. When asked upon, Davey informed the prosecution that someone sent the image to him as a joke. However, the account was destroyed before investigation thus probing further suspicion.

Having weak defence Davey was convicted of three charges of sexual assault that claimed that the incidents occurred on at least five separate occasions. Davey was labelled as a sex offender and told to serve lifetime of Sexual Harm Prevention Order and also had restraining order placed on him to protect his victim from future harm.

#5 Social Media Happy Upon The Death Of The Paedophile

Detective Constable Graham Mansell at the time of sentencing said "Davey's depravity drove him to systematically abuse this very young boy over an 18-month period. I'd like to thank the victim for his bravery in coming forward, along with his family, and recounting what is obviously a distressing time in his life. I would like to take this opportunity to encourage anyone who may have been a victim of sex abuse to report it to police."

When the news took to social media, it spread like a wildfire and people expressed with relief and happiness over the news.
