The actor not only lent support to the kid but also offered his sweet friendship to him in return and seeing the interaction between the two restores our faith in kindness and humanity.

At the beginning of 2022, Cassandra Ridder accidentally helped her son, Brody, go viral after her son came back home from school with an empty yearbook that the majority of his classmates refused to sign. The heartbroken mother in a parenting Facebook, prompting several high school students who caught wind of the sad tale to organize their friends to come to sign his yearbook during class.

Not only this, but as the story went viral, it also prompted strangers, including Rudd, from around the world to reach out to show their support for the Ridders.
The actor sent Brody a signed Ant-Man helmet and a personal note, reminding him, “it’s important to remember that even when life is tough that things get better.”
“There are so many people that love you and think you’re the coolest kid there is— me being one of them!” he continued. “I can’t wait to see all the amazing things you’re going to accomplish.”
Rudd signed the letter “your pal,” and his mom says the two even FaceTimed and have been exchanging text messages.
