A Pennsylvania man who cut down a tree dripping sap on his car was arrested after it came crashing down on his apartment building

Mazzarella and five other people who live in the building now have to find new places to live. After Pittston Township offices condemned the apartment building.

#4 Pittston Township code enforcement officer Terry Best told the TV station...

"He decided the best thing to do was to get rid of the tree," . "Where he thought it was going to go, I have no idea."

Best noted it may be a long time before the residents can come back due to damage to the small apartment building's foundation.
