Kendall Jenner showed up at the 75th annual Golden Globes Awards 2018 looking jaw drop gorgeous in a strapless black gown by Giambattista Valli. The supermodel expressed her support for the Time's Up movement initiated by Hollywood women to stand against sexual harassment in the industry and wrote on her Instagram account that she was honored and humbled to be a part of the evening.

But many people on social media are criticizing Kendall's appearance at the Awards ceremony (which is held every year to honor the best in film and television). Although the American model has been a part of the hit television reality show "Keeping Up With The Kardashians", the critics still questioned Jenner's presence and many tweeted to share their thoughts.

"Kendall Jenner at the golden globes is like me being there= irrelevant, unnecessary, redundant, unimportant, pointless and frivolous," says Nas on Twitter. Others feel like Jenner's appearance might be due to her Pepsi commercial. "Kendall Jenner is at the Golden Globes clearly for her contribution to acting in that Pepsi commercial," Stanners tweeted.

According to the model's Instagram account, she was invited by the Vogue but the public still felt the need to insensibly criticize Kendall with their harsh words.

One such tweet said, "Okay, Y'all I swear I'm gonna stop after this but how did Kendall Jenner have the audacity to turn up to the golden globes like I can't think of a person who would look more out of place there than she does? the only "acting" she's done was in that awful Pepsi advert."

The heavy criticism on the actress and slamming her for appearing at an event is disappointing and everyone needs to be less judgemental. This fact has to be acknowledged that the 22 years old is a famous television personality and her popularity is due to the same public.
