Police Charge Driver For Using Frying Pan As A Steering Wheel

Sunday early morning, South Australian police got reports from Norman Steer in Adelaide's CBD about a man loitering in the area.

On arrival, the policemen saw a man driving a Mazda Sedan and as they caught up with the car they observed that the steering wheel of the car had been replaced with a frying pan.

The car was unregistered, uninsured and defected and the number plate had also been changed.

The 32-year-old driver was charged with driving an unregistered, uninsured and driving contrary to defect, along with altering a number plate and breaching bail.

He was refused bail and is due to appear in Adelaide Magistrates Court on Monday and the car was reportedly impounded for 28 days.
