Prince ‘Was Diagnosed With AIDS Six Months Before He Died’

PRINCE was diagnosed with AIDS six months before his death but refused
treatment because he believed God could cure him, it has been claimed.
The superstar who was found dead aged just 57 allegedly contracted HIV in
the mid 90s.
But it was not until six months ago the condition developed into AIDs,
anonymous sources told the
National Enquirer.

Prince was a Jehovah's Witness and according to the gossip mag had believed
prayer could heal him.
It is said the Purple Rain singer had been "preparing to die for some time",
"rarely ate" and was just 80lbs by the time he was found slumped dead in his
elevator.

An unidentified source told the Enquirer: "Doctors told Prince his blood count
was unusually low and that his body temperature had dropped dangerously
below the normal 98.6 degrees to 94 degrees.
"He was totally iron-deficient, very weak and often disoriented. He rarely ate
and when he did, it all came right back up.
"His face was yellowish, the skin on his neck was hanging off and the tips of
fingers were a brownish-yellow."

The supermarket tabloid goes on to claim the legendary star became addicted to
opiate medication Percoet that he was using to dull the pain he was
suffering in his last months of life.
Police officials have now confirmed that prescription painkillers were found
in Prince's possession when he died, as well as elsewhere in his home.
It is not known whether the drugs had any role in Prince's death.

Previous reports claim Prince overdosed on Percocet five days before his death
Those close to the star had said he died of influenza, an infection that could
have proved fatal if his immune system had been destroyed by AIDS.
Prince's former drug dealer had claimed the tragic star spent £30,000 a time
on highly addictive painkillers and was hooked for more than 25 years.
Doctor D said the musician, who he said was ‘majorly addicted', bought drugs
from him between 1984 and 2008.
The music icon made several trips to a Walgreens pharmacy in the days before
he died and was photographed outside the store just before his death.
The 57-year-old's private plane had already been forced to make an emergency
landing in Moline, Illinois, on April 15, so he could be rushed to hospital.
Prince was found dead last Thursday at his Paisley Park home in Minneapolis,
Minnesota.
He was secretly cremated in an intimate ceremony shortly after an autopsy.

His sister, Tyka Nelson, 55, has said the singer did not leave a will when he
died.
His family have also confirmed they are set to turn Paisley Park into a
museum.
The 50,000 sq ft studio complex in Minnesota will be a lasting memorial for
his fans.
