#2 Mindbender - 1986

Mindbender was one of the most exciting rides at Galaxyland, a theme park in Alberta, Canada. It was also the most deadly. There were loose bolts on the car, sending it flying off the track and into a concrete wall. The safety bars then released, causing people to fly through the air to their deaths. The car then slammed into a pillar. At the end of the day, three people died and many others were injured.

#7 Puff The Little Fire Dragon - 1989

Puff The Little Fire Dragon sounds like a safe, slow "kiddy ride." But as these people at Utah's Lagoon Amusement Park were about to find out, this ride proved to be just as deadly as the bigger rides. A 6-year-old boy slipped out of the restraints, and fell to the floor in the middle of the ride. He was fine, but when he stood up he was struck in the head by the passing dragon and died instantly.
