A new book claims Sarah Ferguson had a secret relationship with Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs and details the rapper’s alleged interest in the royals
Sarah Ferguson, the ex-wife of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, allegedly had a "friends with benefits" relationship with Sean "Diddy" Combs, according to claims made in a new book.
The allegation appears in Entitled, a book by royal author Andrew Lownie. It links two already controversial circles: Combs, who has faced serious allegations around coerced "freak offs," and Ferguson and Andrew’s past connection to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
Lownie claims Ferguson first met Combs in 2002 at a party hosted by Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein’s former associate, who is now in prison for her role in his abuse network.
By 2004, Ferguson and Diddy had allegedly moved into a secret "friends with benefits" arrangement, according to excerpts from Lownie’s book published by the Daily Mail.
However, images seen by UNILAD suggest the pair may have crossed paths earlier than that, possibly in 1998 at one of Diddy’s star-filled birthday parties.
The book does not present the alleged relationship as public at the time. Instead, it frames it as something that happened quietly while both moved in high-profile social circles.
In Entitled, Lownie claims that when the alleged affair began in 2004, Combs boasted about being with the former Duchess of York in hotel rooms said to cost $50,000 a night.
The author also alleges that Combs later created the fragrance "Unforgivable" around Ferguson’s own idea of how men should smell.
The alleged relationship is said to have taken place around eight years after Ferguson divorced then-Prince Andrew. Even after their split, the former couple maintained an unusual setup, continuing to live under the same roof at their Berkshire estate with daughters Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie.
Around the same period, Andrew and Ferguson were known to have had links to Epstein and Maxwell. Epstein and Maxwell attended Andrew’s 40th birthday at Windsor Castle in 2000.
A few years later, they were also present for Princess Beatrice’s 18th birthday at Windsor, despite Epstein facing solicitation charges at the time.
Ferguson and Andrew’s shared living arrangement continued until 2004, when Andrew moved into Royal Lodge in Windsor. He stayed there for roughly two decades before his ties to Epstein later led King Charles to remove his titles and royal privileges. Lownie’s book also claims Ferguson took Princess Eugenie to one of Combs’ parties in 2006, when Eugenie was 16, with an unnamed royal staff member saying: "Sean's parties were wild. The fact that she brought Eugenie around was alarming."
The book further claims that Ferguson introduced both of her daughters to Diddy, who was allegedly fascinated by the royal family.
According to the excerpt, Combs was supposedly so interested in the royals that he allegedly said "he could not wait until Fergie's daughters come of age."
The published excerpt does not explain what became of the alleged arrangement between Ferguson and Combs, or when it may have ended. A source close to Ferguson reportedly told the Telegraph that she denies the claims made in Entitled, saying: "This is absolute fabricated nonsense, blatantly untrue and yet another false allegation from him."
