Selena Gomez's Kidney Donor 'Unfollows' Her And Slams 'No Hollywood Pals' Claim

Francia Raisa, Selena Gomez's kidney donor, responded to the star's claim that she has "no Hollywood pals" outside Taylor Swift by unfollowing her on Instagram.

The 30-year-old star of The Only Murders in the Building just launched her Apple TV+ documentary My Mind & Me, which follows her life over the past several years.

Her organ donor, Francia, was noticeably absent from the documentary.

In 2017, Selena had an organ donation procedure and received a kidney from Francia as a result of health issues brought on by her Lupus battle.

Selena told Rolling Stone in an interview while doing press for the documentary that Taylor Swift is her "only friend" in the industry.

She told the publication: "I never fit in with a cool group of girls that were celebrities.”

"My only friend in the industry really is Taylor [Swift], so I remember feeling like I didn't belong."

Francia is also a Hollywood actress who most recently appeared in the How I Met Your Father remake alongside Hilary Duff.

As the feedback became viral online, Francia replied to E! the "interesting" Instagram photo from the news regarding the comments.

She allegedly unfollowed her longtime Instagram pal Selena after this (via Pop Craze).

The apparent snub comes after Selena discusses her kidney transplant in her documentary but leaves Francia out of the one-off film.

While announcing her organ donation to admirers on Instagram in September 2017, she had previously referred to Francia as her "sister."

Earlier this year, Francia also went to Selena's 30th birthday celebration.

In addition to confirming that she had named her donated kidney after Hollywood actor Fred Armisen, Selena also acknowledged the claimed insult.

She added: "I named it after Fred Armisen because I love Portlandia.”

"I've never met him, but I’m secretly hoping he finds that out just because I want him to be like, 'That's weird.'"
