Not so for unfortunate commuters in Russia, who endured something a lot more literal
Unfortunate drivers near the Altufyevo subway station in Moscow, Russia were given a nasty surprise during their morning commute, when a sewage truck suddenly exploded, sending its filthy contents flying everywhere.
