Picking up a prescription seems like a relatively simple process. Fall in line and pick up what you need. However, have you ever gotten frustrated with a pharmacist? You may have had your own reasons, but below we have a story about not one but two people who were offended by their local pharmacist.

A husband comes home to find his wife sobbing hysterically, and she tells him about an awful experience she had when calling the pharmacist that morning. The husband is obviously upset and sets out to confront the offender, and he was surprised to learn the truth.

#2 She told him what happened that morning.

She called the pharmacist to inquire about something, and he had insulted her terribly.

#3 A man's gotta do what a man's gotta do.

Infuriated, her husband drove downtown to confront the pharmacist and demand that he apologize to his wife.

#4 When he got there, he sought out the pharmacist that his wife had spoken to.

He appeared to be stressed and quite busy, but that didn't stop the husband from yelling at him.

#5 Before the husband could finish, the pharmacist stopped him.

"Let me tell you my side of the story," he told the husband. "Yes, I was burned out and in a bad mood before your wife called, but I have a perfectly good explanation."

#6 First, the pharmacist's alarm failed to go off.

He's usually on time, but when he saw the clock, he realized he was late. So, he rushed to get ready for work.

#7 He forgot his car keys in the house.

Because he was rushing, he left the house and car keys inside. Desperate, he broke a window to get the keys.

#8 If that wasn't bad enough, he got a speeding ticket.

He was a few miles away when a cop, who had been staking out the area, pulled him over for speeding.

#9 And then he got a flat tire.

Fortunately, he had a spare and was able to swap it out quickly.

#10 When he got to the store, there was a long line of angry customers.

He understood that they were relying on him to get their medication, so he hurried behind the counter. The phone was ringing incessantly.

#11 One lady paid with cash, and he had to break open a roll of nickels to give her change.

The roll of nickels exploded all over the floor. He got on all fours to pick up the mess. Meanwhile, the phone continued to ring.

#12 As he was getting up from the floor, he hit his head on a showcase.

There were perfume bottles on it, and quite a few of them shattered on the ground.

#13 Finally, he had a moment to answer the phone.

It was the man's wife. She called because she had one question.

#14 She wanted to know how to use a rectal thermometer.

"I don't know what I did wrong, because honestly, all I did was tell her how!"
