There are tons of creatures out there that are just waiting for you to let your guard down. While many of us struggle to remember that, one woman in China's Jiangsu Province will never forget.
That's when a large centipede decided to make a new home for itself inside of her ear.
Her doctor took some pretty harrowing footage, which shows him extracting the bug with some tweezers.
After initially failing to remove the centipede, the doctor dripped saline solution into the woman's ear to kill the creature and get it out more easily. Luckily, the woman only sustained minor ear injuries from the incident. Nature can be so cruel.
