Jennifer Renz went into labor and gave birth to a healthy baby...then...a week later...she did it again. Here's how.
She Gave Birth...Then A Week Later, She Gave Birth Again. How Is This POSSIBLE?
#1
Jennifer Renz was excited to find out that she was pregnant...with twins.
However, she wasn't prepared to go into labor twice in one week.

Renz was getting a checkup when her doctor realized that the first baby was on the way. The delivery was natural, and the new baby, Grace Renz, was born at 1 lb., 13 oz.
There was just one problem...her brother didn't come out with her.

Doctors could have induced labor, but since the "younger" baby was premature, they decided to wait. A week later, Jennifer gave birth to Noah, weighing in at a health 2 lbs., 15 oz.
Obviously, this is an unusual situation.
"Most of the time they come out two minutes later, sometimes a couple hours. Once in a while, the next day, but a week? That's something I have never seen," said Dr. Jonathan Fanaroff.

This certainly wasn't a standard pregnancy, but it's difficult to argue with results. While both babies were treated in intensive care, they're healthy, and Jennifer sees their staggered birth dates as a blessing; she wanted her babies to lead separate lives, and now they have separate birthdays to celebrate.
