Shia LaBeouf Apologizes For His Latest Arrest, "It Is a New Low. A Low I Hope Is The Bottom"

Shia LaBeouf after being arrested for disorderly conduct in public during early hours of Saturday morning has apologised publicly through his Twitter account. In a video released, LaBeouf could be seen swearing at the police officer by whom he was arrested and he also made harsh racist remarks directed towards the officer.

After this incident, the "Transformers" actor took to Twiter to apologise, and wrote, “I am deeply ashamed of my behaviour and make no excuse for it. I don’t know if these statements are too frequent, or not shared often enough, but I am certain that my actions warrant a very sincere apology to the arresting officers, and I am grateful for their restraint. The severity of my behaviour is not lost on me.”

LaBeouf was later released from a Savannah jail after posting $7,000 bail. The actor has also been arrested earlier before in January when he assaulted a man at his anti-Trump art installation in New York City.

LaBeauf has also publicly confessed that his struggle with addiction has been going on for long, he addressed his behaviour as "new low" and asked people for forgiveness as he is taking steps to get sober.

In his post LaBeouf further wrote, "My outright disrespect for authority is problematic, to say the least, and completely destructive to say the worst. It is a new low. A low I hope is a bottom. I have been struggling with addiction publicly for too long, and I am actively taking steps toward securing my sobriety and hope I can be forgiven for my mistakes.”

The actor was arrested in a hotel lobby at 4 a.m. Saturday by the Savannah Police Department and was later released on bail. The actor is accused of disorderly conduct and obstruction.

The star is in Savannah these days filming for his new movie "The Peanut Butter Falcon, the movie also stars Dakota Johnson.
