We would definitely pack up and leave. So, what is it that keeps these maids working? Perhaps it is the paycheck, the inside scoop on the lifestyles of the rich and famous, or the connections to stardom. At least Cindy Crawford is someone that you want to work for! #1 They Aren’t Trusted

Well, at least not all of them. For instance, George Clooney actually marks his liquor bottles to make sure the maids don't drink any of it. Come on Clooney, you are making bank. We are pretty sure that you can afford to spare some alcohol. But alas, he is tight-fisted when it comes to his possessions. To a certain extent, we can understand where the actor is coming from. When you are so rich and famous, it can be difficult to know who your friends are and who you can trust. It looks like he is just covering his bases!

#2 They need to do Weird things

If we thought that Jessica Simpson and Britney Spears were bad, then we just found a new level in demanding. Just ask "the help" of BeyoncÃ© and Lady Gaga. Their maids claim that Queen B and Gaga never lift a finger and need to be waited on hand and foot. Look, we have mad respect for Bey, but just because we call her "Queen B" does not mean that she is a literal queen. So drop the royalty act and do some things for yourself! As for Lady Gaga, we can only imagine what sorts of weird things she puts her maids through.

#3 They Witness Strange Self-Care

Yes, celebrities are cray-cray and who better to witness it then the maids. For example, Ryan Gosling pees sitting down and sleeps with his head and feet on the reversed ends of the bed. Certain celebs also have some downright weird habits, be it in the bedroom, at the dinner table and others that come out through everyday life. And the lucky people who get to deal with it are the maids. Sure, self-care is important, but are housekeepers really responsible for ensuring that the rich and famous take care of themselves? We thought that the job description only pertained to the house. Oh well. Maybe they get paid extra for it. Better believe the celebrities can afford to!

#4 They Get Impersonated

Christina Aguilera loves to run around in sexy costumes, such as a French maid or a naughty nurse. Yet she does it while the maids are around, wouldn't that be awkward if it's the same outfit? Not to mention, guess who ends up cleaning up the clothes strewn all over the floor? Yup, you guessed it, the less famous maid. While Christina hasn't exactly broadcast her sexual roleplaying kinks, it doesn't come as much of a surprise. Especially when you consider that she has been a sex symbol for years. Regardless of when you thought she may have looked her best, there is no doubting the appeal of Aguilera (personally? I think she looked the sexiest during "Genie In A Bottle", but that still doesn't mean I agree with her behavior!)

#5 They Take Care of Slobs

Take Jessica Simpson, for instance. Her maids often have to scurry around, picking up hair pieces, false eyelashes, and more. We don't know about you, but stray wigs lying all around the place just sounds nasty to us. Another sloppy celeb is Britney Spears. Her maids have found all sorts of stuff, from half-eaten food to dirty clothes strewn all over the place. We know that Brit has to care for her brood of kids, but come on. Be responsible and pick up for yourself! Like Jessica, Britney is one celebrity who definitely takes advantage of her hardworking home helpers.

#6 They Need to Follow Weird Rules

Such as Sandra Bullock's no-opening-the-curtains policy. Depressing! Is Bullock a shut-in? Other weird rules involve, you guessed it, Lady Gaga. She has her assistants sleep with her in hotel rooms in order to ensure there are not any evil spirits or ghosts who will haunt her while she sleeps. Needless to say, she is one superstitious super-star. We are pretty sure that maids have seen it all when it comes to crazy clients. We guess as long as they stick to the rules, they'll be okay. No word yet on what the punishments are for maids who don't adhere to strict guidelines, but we would actually rather not know!

#7 They Probably Suffer from Second-Hand Smoke

At least if they are maids working for Kristen Stewart. That girl smokes like no other, and leaves the burning butts all over the place. Gross! We have seen Kristen in loads of paparazzi photographs with her beloved cigs. Still, we can't even imagine how her clothes or her house smells. Some celebs even have crystal ashtrays, which the maids need to clean out all too often. Something tells us that Tiffany glass and cigarette ashes just do not mix. Still, it's better to at least have ashtrays than to have the cigarette butts all over the floor (as in Kristen's case.)

#8 They Get Harassed

Bruce Springsteen in particular is known for hitting on his maids. Kind of gross, considering he is such a has-been. Now don't get us wrong, Bruce is always going to be a legendary artist. But still, he does not have to be a dirty old man and hit on his staff! That's disgusting! Yet he must pay pretty well if his maids continue to work for him. Perhaps the harassment is a small price to pay for making bank as a housekeeper for Springsteen. Another celeb who is a bit of an instigator is Jim Carrey who can be a maid's best friend or a complete menace.

#9 They Live Unpredictable Lives

Some maids work for celebs who are known to be a bitup and down. Jim Carrey, for instance, is a gentle teddy bear one minute and a screaming banshee the next! We have heard that he has ADHD, but this is unacceptable behavior and you really feel for his housekeepers. These are your housekeepers, they help you out on a regular basis, and you are just going to snap at them over nothing? Get a grip, Jim Carrey! This is almost as bad as Mariah Carey's drunken stupor. Cut these maids some slack! Plus, how do you even know if he's mad or if he's just acting?!

#10 They Do The Most Trivial Things

We can see Martha Stewart's life being a little boring. Yet her maids are always booked up with things to do. One of the most ridiculous tasks her maids have to do is color in the soles of her Christian Louboutin shoes black. They have to use a black Sharpie to do it! Are you serious? First of all, that is just cruel. Secondly, Martha Stewart is supposed to be the queen of domesticity. We would think that she has some tricks up her sleeve to make that sole-coloring task easier. Or here's a novel idea: don't wear Louboutins if you don't already like them!
