Recently, a shopper was walking in a Kentucky Save A Lot parking lot when they spotted a receipt that someone had dropped and they decided to pick it up. Surely, the owner of the receipt intended on throwing it away...but unfortunately for them they did not.
When they saw what was on the receipt they knew they had to act. After snapping a quick picture, the receipt was then posted online where it has since gone viral and not for good reasons.

As shown here,the food stamp holder spent almost $40 on groceries for the day, but that's not what has everyone's attention. Just one line down, people have been left jaw dropped to see that the welfare recipient has a whopping balance of over $5,500!
Sadly, food stamp fraud is far from isolated. Some people are maintaining outrageous balances of upwards of $3,000-$20,000, while others have been known to abuse the system in many other ways.

Now of course, we can't say for sure if this is fraud or not,but it sure doesn't sit well with a lot of folks!
One person said, "The economy is bad enough, but for hard working Americans to bust their butts every day just to put food on the table while watching freeloaders stuff their face with prime cuts of beef is beyond infuriating".
However, the system is in place for a reason and there are plenty of people who genuinely need to receive food stamps because they can't make ends meet without it.

A lot of people are calling for the program to end. I don't agree with that but I do think a serious change is needed.
