Pink has revealed she will be raising her children to gender neutral and her eldest daughter has already expressed a desire to marry an African woman.
Singer Pink Reveals She’s Raising Her Daughter As Gender Neutral
The singer has revealed: "We are a very label-less household. Last week Willow told me she is going to marry an African woman.
I was like "Great, can you teach me how to make African food?"
And she's like "Sure mama, and we are going to live with you while our house is getting ready."
Pink added that she recently saw the gender-neutral movement being promoted at a school. She said: "The bathroom outside the kindergarten said: 'Gender Neutral - anybody', and it was a drawing of many different shapes."
"I took a picture of it and wrote: 'Progress'. I thought that was awesome. I love that kids are having this conversation."
Meanwhile, Pink previously confessed she is worried about her children's future and admits it will "break her heart" when her eldest child finds out the "kind of world she lives in".
This isn't the first time Pink has tried to smash stereotypes and ideals of conformity for her family. The singer made headlines around the world when she accepted the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award at this year's MTV VMAs with a poignant speech about her young daughter, Willow Hart.
Pink recalled how Willow had told her, "I’m the ugliest girl I know' before adding that she thought she looked like a boy with long hair."
She said: "I went home and I made a Powerpoint presentation for her. And in that presentation were androgynous rockstars and artists that live their truth, are probably made fun of every day of their life, and carry on, wave their flag and inspire the rest of us.
