They tried to leave when the guys started to misbehave with them but were rather beaten up badly.

When Nicole tried to escape she fell down the stairs, hitting herself on head.

Finally, they were allowed to go after twenty hours of torture but not before the men blackmailed them to not tell anyone or they'll be killed.
