#1 Lurking in the Window
Grainne Dowdall took this selfie. Her sister said, "It was sent on Snapchat and her friend saw it straight away, took a screenshot and sent it back in shock." She never even knew it was there.
#2 Snapchat Filter Captures This Face
Carrie Rose got this unusual result from just a normal snap-selfie from her friend, Amy. "My friend was just taking a selfie exploring the new Snapchat filters, and as she was swiping the face appeared above her. It stayed for quite a while and moved as she moved the camera - enough time for her to quickly take a picture and send it to her friends, including me", she said.
#3 Bethany Harvey's Experience
But it has worked for other people. Like in this photo. The user captions the snap "Photo bombed!" not realizing that it wasn't just her friend photo bombing her. A little girl appears to be sitting in the background. There was no little girl there in the room according to Bethany Harvey.
#4 Andrew Milburn's Haunted Hospital Pic
An employee at a hospital took this photo on Snapchat to show his girlfriend that he was at work. The photo captured this figure lurking at the end of the hallway.
#5 Face Swap Recognize Faces in Background
The ghostly face that swapped with hers came from behind her.
#6 Very Suspicious
Maybe that's why this is Snapchat's Icon. It sounds silly, but software companies experiment with things like this all the time. Ghost recognition software? Quite possibly.
