So-Called Friend Abuses A 3-Year-Old And It's All Caught On Nannycam

Child abuse whether it be sexual, physical, or psychological is just abhorrent especially when it is the parent or the caregiver who is the abuser. Child abuse also includes failure to act by the caregiver or parent that results in potential harm to a child. Sadly, these types of abuses are rampant in the United States.

Childhelp.com's statistics show that the United States has one of the worst records for child abuse. According to the website every year, more than 3.6 million referrals are made to child protection agencies involving more than 6.6 million child abuse cases.

One particularly disturbing video has been making its rounds on social media. It shows a woman abusing a three-year-old little girl that she was charged with babysitting. Instead of caring for the child, she was caught on tape grabbing her, yanking on her arms, and shoving her to the ground.

The video starts off with the babysitter sitting on the edge of the couch wrenching the little girl's arm. It is unclear as to why the babysitter is not wearing any clothes from the waist down. That is disturbing enough on its own.

Then, the woman can be seen shoving the little girl down to the ground and out of the sight of the camera. The brave little girl did not even begin to cry which makes it all the more heartbreaking as if she might be used to this kind of behavior.

The babysitter then yells at the girl to get up. She gets up and walks around the sitter and stands behind her. The sitter then tells her to "walk right here" attempting to get the girl to cross right in front of her.

Not wanting to get to close to the sitter, the little girl walks in a semi-circle around the sitter instead. She can be seen grabbing the girl again by the arm and telling her to "walk right here," again. The video ends with the sitter reaching out to grab the child again.

We do not know a whole lot at this time. What we do know is that this sitter was a so-called friend of the mother. We also know that the babysitter was arrested after the mother showed the video to authorities.

The mother was obviously shocked. She made a statement saying, "I helped this girl, paid her rent for her to ‘help’ babysit my baby while I work some nights.Be aware and careful who you leave your kids with ‘cause people are sick and it’s the people closest to you."

Apparently, the babysitter is nine months pregnant and going through "some stuff" at this time. However, that is not an excuse for her behavior. Her problems are no reason for her to lash out at a defenseless three-year-old.
