On rare occasions, I'll look in the mirror and think to myself, "Wow, I actually look decent today." And that's when I think it's always a good time to document this moment by taking a bunch of selfies. Of course, when I'm reviewing the selfies, they all look terrible. Has this ever happened to you? The camera just can't pick up your good angles or that makeup you spent hours doing. Well, it happens to celebs too! They always look glam on the red carpet but even they have awkward pictures! Especially when they're trying to be cute with their partner by doing the classic kiss pose. And let's just say that the results aren't always what you think. Check out these awkward pics of celebs kissing!

1. Oop! I don't think Ben Affleck got the memo that you're supposed to close your eyes when you kiss someone.

At least Jennifer Lopez didn't see it happen!

2. Scarlett Johansson turned around after but the camera just caught her and John Travolta at an awkward moment.

Scarlett was busy looking gorgeous and glam on the red carpet!

3. It's all just a bit of miscommunication.

Salma Hayek thought it was going to be a cheek peck and her husband thought he was going to get to kiss her on the lips.

I can't even tell you how many times that's happened. And it's been documented. Oh, and then people have uploaded the pic to Facebook and tagged me in it.

4. Jennifer Lawrence wanted to thank her director with a kiss but it looks like his brain hadn't registered that it was a kiss!

5. It looks like Nick Cannon doesn't know how to do the classic kiss pose with Mariah Carey! Close your eyes when you're kissing... but not too hard!

Look at Mariah killing it though! She's a pro at this pose!

6. Sometimes, passionate kisses don't always photograph well. But Chrissy Teigen and John Legend are still such an attractive couple!

7. Props to Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell. The over-the-shoulder kiss is sometimes hard to nail given the angle!

It's awkward but this couple is still so adorable.

8. The camera just caught Kyra Sedgwick and Kevin Bacon at a bad time. It's probably the split second before they both closed their eyes!

9. Selena Gomez didn't realize that Justin Bieber wasn't leaning in to tell her a secret. He was trying to kiss her!

10. Michelle and Barack Obama just missed each other! It's almost like when a high five doesn't go right.

11. Gene Simmons is always known for his long tongue. And it looks like Shannon Tweed doesn't mind showing off her tongue on the red carpet too!

12. There might have been a bit of miscommunication between Eva Mendes and Will Smith.

13. George Clooney and Tilda Swinton came up with a cool new way to kiss without really kissing.

14. Guy Ritchie did what we all do sometimes and kiss a bit too hard. The camera just happened to catch the moment!

I wonder if Madonna even had enough time to register what happened!
