According to a report from TMZ on Tuesday, there was no surveillance video inside or outside the ultra-expensive, ultra-private hotel, an apartment in a swanky unmarked French building. Is that even possible?

Kim reported to Paris police that thieves dressed as police officers had broken into her ultra chic private hotel room, tied her up in her bathtub, and held her at gunpoint while stealing more than $10 million worth of jewelry, including her $4 million engagement ring, and two iPhones with all of her personal information stored on them.

According to the news, Kanye was performing when he heard about the robbery. He stopped mid-song and abruptly ended his performance at the Meadows Music & Arts Festival in New York. He also sent out a tweet to fans that his schedule was being discarded due to a family emergency.

Kim wasn't hurt and flew to New York on a private jet as soon as she could. And while Paris authorities are taking the robbery very seriously, the internet believes that it may be a publicity stunt by the reality star and is further argued by Justice Stephen Breyer who brought up the alleged burglary in a recent case he was hearing.

One internet news site even laid out a complete case for the story being "bullshit," noting that you can't lock bathrooms from the outside, that Kim's bodyguard was absent from the multi-room suite at the time, that the robbery happened at a "no address hotel," and that Kim Kardashian, who is always on social media, failed to record or communicate any aspect of the heist.

Many wondered how the report went without being reported to social media as everything else does in the Kardashian/West world. People asked important questions, like how her bodyguards missed thieves in uniforms entering the hotel room and how they missed her "screams for help" as she was locked in the bathroom and pounded on the door.
