Swizz Beatz has a reply to Dr Dre's question about a possible Verzuz opponent for Marshall Mathers, a.k.a. Eminem.

On Sunday night, Dr Dre posted a video of Eminem rapping the final line of his 2020 song "Godzilla," sparking a massive discussion in the hip-hop community by asking, "Marshall Mathers vs Who???!"

The first commenter to make a suggestion was Swizz Beatz, a co-creator of the live Verzuz series, who named a rap legend who would end in a match-up on fire.

“BUSTA!!!!!!!!!!! Let’s go,” Swizz replied.

Of course, there is no guarantee that a Verzuz with Eminem is in the cards for the future, but the question nonetheless had fans comparing and contrasting rap superstars who they thought would complement the "Lose Yourself" rapper.

Despite the fact that neither Eminem nor Busta Rhymes have responded to the discussion, it is undeniable that both rappers rank among hip hop's greatest in terms of their own accomplishments.

On the other hand, Busta Rhymes has received 11 Grammy nominations. He was named one of the best and most productive rappers of the 1990s by AllMusic and is included in the list of the 50 Greatest MCs of All Time (1987–2007).

The rapper has been included in numerous Verzuz rumors, including one made last week by Fat Joe, who praised the rapper's long list of songs.

“Fat Joe is scared to do Verzuz with Busta Rhymes and so is everybody else,” Fat Joe said during an IG Live video. “You gotta understand, sometimes you ever notice—you saw boxers and they knock everybody out? People be scared to fight those boxers.”

He added, “Busta Rhymes is gonna out-rap, out-perform anybody who goes up in a Verzuz with him. That’s a fact. Yo, Busta Rhymes, nobody wanna get in there with you, man. You might have to be an honorary—they gotta give you the check for no reason.”
