Tara Reid has been called everything from "stick thin", "too thin", and "scary skinny. It is often suggested that this star suffers from an eating disorder like anorexia. Recently, she was in the headlines again when a photo surfaced of her getting out of a car outside of a California restaurant. The photo shows Reid in a bright pink dress exiting the car. Her legs are so thin that her panties showed and the media painted her in a very bad light over it. Now Reid is lashing out and wants to clarify that she does not have an eating disorder and is not now nor has she ever been anorexic. She says, "I am just thin. People are overweight and we don't attack them every time they go out."

Reid says, "People have been calling me painfully thin for years. I can take one of the Halloween costumes I wore last year and put it on this year. It's the same weight. I don't fluctuate – it's just who I am. I do eat. I eat all the time. But this is just my natural weight and people need to leave me alone."
The actress also claims she is often targeted by people on the streets and in restaurants who shout abuse at her about her fame and about her eating.
Even though Reid was larger when she filmed American Pie at the age of 20, she says she is not in total denial that she has a problem and said that her extra weight from that time in her life came from eating unhealthy and drinking a lot of beer.

Reid was really hurt by the latest batches of photos to surface with the claims of her being too thin and possibly ill. It seems like they were blatant attempts to make her appear like she is not wearing underwear. It made her feel like they were making her out to be a trashy whore even though she was just out trying to enjoy her night and was doing nothing wrong.

She said they acted like she was purposely trying to show her crotch and that could not be further from the truth. These photos have devastated her and left her feeling angry.

Reid has been an actress since she was just six years old and had her big break when she was in the movie The Big Lebowski. The following year was when she was cast in American Pie and appeared in two out of the three sequels to that movie series. Other movies she has been in include Van Wilder, My Boss's Daughter, and Jose and the Pussycats.

But, as her acting career started to really take off, so did her reputation as a party girl. She was frequently photographed in a state of disarray at various Hollywood nightclubs.

Back in 2008, Reid sought treatment for alcohol abuse in a Malibu rehab center. During this time, it was speculated that her look of disarray during her partying times was a result of a botched boob job and liposuction back in 2008. The procedures left her with weird looking breasts and a lopsided belly as well as rippled skin. She had a set of procedures done to fix the botched job, and has the scars to show for it even though she does look much better than she did before she got "fixed up."

Her weight really became a focus for, let's just call it what it is, bullying. If you Google, "Tara Reid Skinny," over 4 million results pop up and the majority are articles mocking her shape and size.

Reid is now fronting an anti-bullying campaign called I Heart Bullying as she says what she is going through, with the endless comments on her size and shape, is a little more than abuse. She says people walk right up to her with their unwanted and rude comments all of the time.

She says, "A lot of it is the way people look at me. I am famous so people stare but it's how they think about me. And it hurts my feelings."
We say you are absolutely right, Tara. No one famous or not deserves to be teased and taunted about their shape or size. If everyone could mind their own business and be uplifting to one another, the world would be a much better place.
