Ivan S., a teacher at a Russian school, was caught on camera abusing a pupil after an unidentified incident. Police are currently looking into the incident, and the instructor is reportedly no longer employed there.
After being seen on camera viciously hitting a student for being too loud, the instructor resigned in shame.
Russian viewers were furious after seeing the math instructor's viral video on social media because they felt the teacher went too far.
After the video was released, the instructor, who was only identified as Ivan S. by Russian media, resigned from the 12th school in Dzerzhinsk, Nizhny Novgorod.
Students caught the teacher violently punching and shoving their helpless friend, twice knocking him to the ground, while yelling nonstop.
The math instructor is seen striking, pushing, and repeatedly yelling, "To the director, b***ch," on the footage.
The boy makes reference to what is probably the event that prompted his instructor to begin the vicious attack at one point in the video, saying: "It's not my fault, they pushed me."
Said footage ends as the student is being dragged through the door, maybe to the headmaster's office, or the "director," as Ivan S. refers to it.
The instructor in the video is believed to have been employed by the school for two years, and the institution claims that no complaints regarding his behavior have ever been made in the past.
When questioned about his contacts with the student, Ivan said that the kids' loud activities had hindered him from organizing his lesson.
Although the mayor of Dzerzhinsk said that nothing "threatens his life and health," the student's parents have pushed for Ivan to quit, and the police are now looking into the instructor.
The instructor was criticized for his "blatantly unpleasant attitude" by the Ministry of Education, which has subsequently claimed they dismissed him rather than accepting Ivan's resignation.
Additionally, the agency hoped that the child's parents would receive "a sincere apology from the responsible authorities."
Their statement added: "The person who crossed the line of what is permitted has been fired from the educational organization. Such behavior is unacceptable!"
