Mary Beth Haglin was arrested back in July after she was caught having sex with one of her underage students in the back of her car in a park, now she has come back with one bizarre defense that probably won’t work out for her in court.

Instead of pleading the fifth and letting her lawyer do his job Mary Beth is attempting to defend her actions by saying that she was the victim because the student was the one who seduced her.

"He would come into my classroom, grab a Post-It, write something and stick it to my desk on his way out," she said. One read, "I love you so much, my empress."

The kid even threw up some cheesy movie references such as calling her "Mrs. Robinson," a reference to Anne Bancroft's character in ‘The Graduate'. "I was completely head over heels," she said.

It didn't take long before they were meeting up in the park. "We met several times a week, not every time was just to have sex," she said. "There were times we would sit and talk. I thought in my mind this was some sort of real relationship."

Her trial date is November 14th, she is facing up to 2 years in prison and 10 years of being a registered sex offender.

If she thinks being an adult seduced by a child is going to give her a lesser sentence then she is in for a surprise.
