Teen Girl Hospitalized For Mystery Paralysis. Her Nurse Screams When She Discovers This!
#1 Bailey Miller, a typical teenage girl from Texas, had her life thrown into disarray a few months back.
For reasons that are still unclear, Bailey suddenly lost the ability to control her body from the waist-down. Her mother, sensing the gravity of the situation, took her to the hospital immediately. Bailey would go on to spend 11 days at the hospital while doctors tried to figure out what exactly went wrong.
#2 When you spend nearly two weeks living out of a hospital bed, you tend to get pretty chummy with your nurses.
These men and women go above and beyond every day to care for the sick and elderly - they're so nurturing that it's easy to form fast friendships with them! Naturally, Bailey had grown close to one nurse in particular during her half-month stay in the hospital.
#3 Bailey surprised one of her favorite nurses one day, though,
by greeting her when she came into her Texas hospital by getting out of her chair and embracing her. The nurse's reaction is indicative of, as the top YouTube comment reads, "a woman who has given too much, for too few victories."
#4 As her favorite nurse approaches, Bailey prepares to stand
Nurse screamed with joy and then burst into tears as her paralyzed patient suddenly got up out of her wheelchair and walked towards her.
#5 She had regained feeling and movement in her legs
...and when her favorite nurse came on shift decided to surprise her by getting up out of her chair.
#6 The pair hugged and burst into tears
The nurse is clearly shocked as she screams before she grabs Bailey and hugs her tightly.
Both then burst into tears as other staff look on in the corridor.
The child's nurse says: 'I told you, just keep that faith.'
#7 The video was filmed by Bailey's mother Becky Murrill to capture the moment her daughter surprised her nurse by walking again.
She had been taken into hospital after she lost all feeling from the waist down and took 11 days to recover.
The reasons for Bailey's unexpected paralysis are not known.
#8 The child had been walking earlier that day and decided to surprise her nurse.
She wrote in the description: 'The day before Bailey still had no feeling or movement in her legs. I want to thank everyone for their prayers, blessings, and support through this.'
#9 The video, entitled 'Love our nurses!', has been viewed more than 1 million times.
Ms Murrill initially posted the video on Facebook where it had more than 340,000 views and then decided to share it on YouTube.
#10 She had almost 200 friend requests after posting it on her Facebook page.
