Houston police department reported to a crime scene where a woman had allegedly shot her suspected stalker who had been kicking her front door. During the initial investigation, police confirmed that the door of the apartment was damaged. Investigation into the case continues.
Police report that one Texas woman shot and killed an alleged stalker after he kicked in her front door.
Accoridng to the police, the icndet happed last week in Harris County at the Gateway at Ellington apartment complex.
Houston Police department responded to the crime scene and when they reached the apartment they found a male with a gunshot wound in the chest.
The man who is yet to be identified was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to the police, the alleged stalker was shot by the woman after he kicked her front door.
During the initial investigation, the woman told the police that she had recently moved to get away from the man, SBG San Antonio reported.
Police confirmed that they found the woman's front door in a damaged state. Other people were unable to notice the incident as they were inside the residence that time.
The Houston Police Department posted a photo of the scene to Twitter on Monday, saying officers from its Clear Lake division responded to the scene.
The investigation into the case continues.
Houston Police did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment on any updates in the case.
