There are a lot of super-cool things about being famous, but having a psychotic stalker is not one of them. It comes with the territory of course, I suppose. When one becomes a star, everyone knows who you are. You have money, fame, and an adoring public. The only problem is, some of your adoring public is flat-out crazy, and they may become obsessed with you, and when that happens, things can get really weird really quickly.

#1 Ivanka Trump- Justin Massler
Justin Massler had it kind of bad for Ivanka Trump. He was obsessed with her for years, would occasionally threaten to kill himself in her jewelry store over her, and would send her twitter photos of himself with blood all over him. Hey Justin, that emo stuff is never going to fly with a Trump. He has stalked other people as well, including model and art curator Lenora Claire, check out a portion of this letter he wrote to her: "Lenora I figured it all out: I really am Jesus Christ and the real Clark Kent/Superman but the people from Phillips Exeter Academy which is the real Smallville High School have all been literally brainwashed to not think or talk about this. i just ran into some people from Exeter here in Waikiki and I asked them about it and they froze up and stopped talking in the exact same brainwashed fashion that Scientologists do when you ask them about Xenu." Ummm what? Massler has been arrested for stalking both Trump and Claire.
#2 Madonna- Robert Hoskins
Even Madonna is not immune to stalkers. She had one of the worst ones of them all, a guy named Robert Dewey Hoskins who was an escaped mental patient who stalked Madonna and threatened to kill her. He was shot by her own personal security force after climbing a fence at her home. He was sentenced to ten years in prison, so that should be the end of this story right? Wrong. After he was released from prison he was put in another mental institution, then he escaped and was supposedly after Halle Berry because he wanted to kill her. Ummm, hey Robert, why don't you maybe stop threatening to kill all sorts of famous women and terrorizing them? It really is not a very good look. Thanks.

#3 Sandra Bullock – Joshua Corbett
Sandra Bullock was chilling out in her home when all of a sudden she realized a man was inside of her house. She locked herself in a closet and called 911. When the cops came they arrested 39-year-old Joshua James Corbett. He had been hanging around outside her home for a few days before he decided to break in. The cops found a letter on him which said "You could of (sic) had me today however you choose other people over me. I'll be around as you know. I love you. I love you and Louie (sic) and only want to be part of your lifes (sic) I saw you come home after the AFI gala and only wished I was at the entrance to your heart when you came home." Creepy much? He was charged with burglary and stalking.
#4 Rebecca Schaeffer- Robert Bardo
Sometimes stalkers really do snap, and don't just terrorize their victims sometimes the results are truly tragic. Such was the case when Robert Bardo killed actress Rebecca Schaeffer. Bardo had stalked her for years and hired a detective agency to get her address. He was mad at her because she was in a sex scene in the movie Scenes from the Class Struggle in Beverly Hills and he felt that he "lost her innocence." He showed up at her apartment and got her to sign an autograph, then he took off. He came back about an hour later, rang her doorbell, and when she opened the door he shot her, and she died. Bardo was later arrested wandering around aimlessly in traffic, and is serving life in prison.

#5 David Letterman- Mary Margaret Ray
It is not just the ladies that get the special treatment, guys do too sometimes. If you don't believe me, just ask David Letterman, he had one of the very craziest stalkers of them all. Margaret Mary Ray was arrested no less than eight times for trespassing on Letterman's property, where she would often leave cookies.The first time was when she got busted for stealing his Porsche; when she was busted she told the arresting officers that she was his wife. She served a total of 34 months in prisons or psychiatric hospitals for her crimes related to Letterman. She died in 1998 by kneeling in front of a speeding train in Colorado. Letterman expressed sympathy after her death.

#6 Selena Gomez- Thomas Brodnicki
Next on our list of total and complete creeps is Thomas Brodnicki, a 46-year-old man who had it bad for Selena Gomez. How bad did he have it? Well, he used to have conversations with God about killing her, and when you think about it, that is pretty bad. She got a restraining order on him, so when he was in court he said: "I do not wish to object to the restraining order against me because I know it is the only thing that will make me stay away from Selena." This weirdo had been arrested previously for stalking other women, and had flown to Los Angeles from Chicago on three different occasions to try and meet her. Hey man, sure Selena is cool and all, but leave her alone maybe? He was last heard from a few years ago when he sent her an email that said "I love you more with each passing day."

#7 Uma Thurman- Jack Jordan
Jack Jordan had it bad for Uma Thurman. Which is okay unto itself, but like all of the others on this list, he didn't really seem to get that he was going just a tad too far. He was convicted of stalking Uma Thurman in 2008, for sending her drawings and greeting cards that were sexual and violent. He did this for years without stopping. Okay, so I get how you can buy a sexually suggestive greeting card but a violent one? Who sells violent greeting cards? There does not seem to be a huge market for that type of thing. He was sentenced to probation, but ended up violating its terms, and wound up being incarcerated for close to a year. Not surprisingly, mental health issues were at the root of many of the issues with Mr. Jordan.

#8 Gwyneth Paltrow- Dante Solu
There is something about getting letters in the mail that is so charming and so old school. There really is nothing that shows you care more than writing someone a letter. Sending someone you don't know five letters a day though? Well, that is kind of a bit much. Tell that to Dante Michael Soiu. He sent Gwyneth Paltrow five letters a day, but that was not enough to show her how much he cared, he also sent her boxes of adult films. Guys, here is a pro tip, never send a woman you like a box filled with adult films. Paltrow seemed to be able to roll with this until he went to her parents' house and said that he wanted to "cut the sin" out of her by using "God's scalpel." He was declared legally insane and hospitalized in California, where they presumably do not let him have stamps.

#9 Blake Lively- Sergei Mifle
Poor Blake Lively, there she was just doing her own thing, without ever even knowing that she had a metaphysical connection with a total weirdo! She found out when her own personal stalker Sergei Mifle started showing up regularly on the set of Gossip Girl and telling her that he had a "metaphysical connection" with her. When that didn't work he started bugging Blake's mom. They got an emergency restraining order on him for three years, which thankfully he did not violate. Hey Sergei, here is a pro tip for you. If you think that you have a metaphysical connection with someone, and they don't have any idea what you are talking about, the odds are that they are right, and you are wrong. Look up the word "connection" maybe?

#10 Paris Hilton- James Rainford
While a lot of people might not agree with his taste in women, James Rainford really liked Paris Hilton. A bit too much in fact. He was busted for trespassing and then was convicted of attacking her then boyfriend Cy Waits. For that he was sentenced to 227 days in jail; he got out after 24 days, and then decided to go hang out on the beach right outside of her house where he was arrested again. Hilton then tweeted: ‘My stalker needs to leave me alone. Creep.' That was the last time that Rainford was busted for doing anything creepy and stalkerish that we know of, so hopefully he decided to leave her alone. Paris is not the coolest chick out there, but no one deserves to be stalked.
