First of all, let's take a second to appreciate how gorgeous the Smith family is.

With a last name so common, there's no doubt that this family is stand-out.

Willow made her acting debut when shew as just seven years old. She appeared in I Am Legend alongside her dad.

She's just the most precious thing ever, no? The next year she appeared in Kit Kittredge: An American Girl as Countee Garby.

Don't you just want to pinch her adorable little cheeks????

Before we knew it, Willow was showcasing her funky style that raised a few eyebrows but was applauded by most.

She told Oprah that she shaved the side of her head because it made her feel "free."

In 2010, Willow released her first single titled "Whip My Hair." It was met with pretty positive reviews and we got a taste of Willow's wild style.

We were suddenly REALLY excited to see what she would rock to award shows.

Of course, they weren't all home runs.

At 11 years old, she showcased her tongue piercing, which really upset people.

Jada defended her daughter and explained that she didn't want to have her wait until she was 18 to start making these decisions.

Although it may be pretty out there, we're glad she feels comfortable enough in her own skin to dress how she wants, even when she was 12 years old.

If there was any question where Willow gets her style inspo from, we're guessing it's her mom.

Like all teenagers, styles change as you grow older, and Willow's style is no exception. She still remains true to her creativity, though.

Now that she's quickly creeping up on 16 years old, we can hardly believe how much more adult she's looking already.

We love that she's still down to hang out with her dad, because let's be real: most 16-year-olds wouldn't be up for that.

Maybe if your dad is Will Smith, that changes things.
