Charlize Theron's - 5ft 10in

She was born Charlize Theron on 7 August 1975, in Benoni, Transvaal Province, South Africa. Charlize was actually named after her late father, Charles Theron. Charlize got her foot into showbiz through a modeling gig. The same year her father died, her mum entered her into a modeling competition. Fortunately, she won and got the opportunity to go to Milan to pursue a career as a model. Her work in the movie Monster earned Charlize an Academy Award for Best Actress at the Oscars. This makes her the first South African woman to win an Academy Award. Matthew McGrory was born in West Chester, Pennsylvania on 17 May 1973. When he was born, he weighed 15 pounds and was 24 inches long and he was over 5 feet tall when he graduated from Kindergarten. Due to his extreme height, he was in demand to play roles in movies cast as a giant — he did so in films such as Bubble Boy, Big Fish, House Of 1000 Corpses and The Devil's Rejects and television shows including Malcolm in the Middle, Charmed, and Carnivàle. Edward John David Redmayne Born and raised in London, he studied the history of art at Trinity College, Cambridge, after which he briefly dabbled with a modeling career. Redmayne began his professional acting career as a youth in West End theatre before making his screen debut in 1998 with guest appearances on television. Peter Mayhew is an English-American actor who is best known for playing Chewbacca in the Star Wars film series. His height is not a product of gigantism — "I don't have the big head" — but of a connective tissue disorder called Marfan syndrome. His peak height was 7 feet 3 inches (221 cm). Mayhew got his first acting job in 1976 when the producers of Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger discovered him from a photograph in a newspaper article about men with large feet and cast him in the role of the Minotaur. When casting his first Star Wars film, producer George Lucas needed a tall actor who could fit the role of the hairy alien Chewbacca. He originally had in mind 6-foot-6-inch (1.98 m) bodybuilder David Prowse, but instead, Prowse chose to play Darth Vader. This led Lucas on a search which turned up Mayhew, who was working as an orderly and says that all he had to do to be cast in the role of Chewbacca was stand up.
