You'll need:

Safety pins (number depends on wrist size)

Small glass beads

Elastic thread

Here's how to do it:

Select a few bead colors that you like and string the beads on the end of a safety pin. Sometimes it's easiest to lay the beads on a surface and pick them up with the pin.

Once your first pin is full, carefully close it, keeping the beads in place. Repeat this for some 90 safety pins. Depending on the size of your wrist, you may need more or less than 90.

Then cut two pieces of elastic thread that are longer than the circumference of your wrist and make a knot in one end.

#4

String the safety pins one by one onto the elastic thread (the first piece goes through one end of the pin and the other band goes through the other). Make sure the side of the pin with beads is always facing in the same direction

It is helpful to alternate the direction of the safety pins so that one side isn't thicker than the other. See the photo below for an example.

Once you've finished stringing the pins, make a knot in the end of the band and then tie the two ends together. The elastic should allow the bracelet to fit on your wrist.

Some of these take serious patience and a steady hand. The beads are tiny and hard to keep track of, but hey, at least you can say that no one has a bracelet like yours! You could also use larger beads or differently shaped beads if you'd like - whatever look works for you.
