The Museum of Selfies is the creation of Tommy Honton and Tair Mamedov.

The co-founders of the museum are escaped room designers who are aware of the friction between classical photography and museum attendance and modern drives.

"The relationship between people and art has changed," cofounder Tommy Honton told Mashable.

"Now people don’t want to just be a silent consumer, they want to be a part of the art. There are many more selfies with the Mona Lisa than actual Mona Lisas."

Mamedov says, "Nowadays, museums are not just a place where you just come to check the art."

"They’re a place where you come to create something, using your phone and usually your pretty face to collaborate with existing art and make something new. He hopes that The Museum of Selfies will raise questions about art, artists, and the fine border between consumer and artist."

Visitors can expect exhibits inspired by clichés like food pics, bathroom mirror images, and pop culture.

While many museums and world heritage sites have banned selfie sticks, the Museum of Selfies welcomes them. For any Game Of Thrones fans, there will also be an iron throne made up of selfie sticks.

Proof that even ? are into selfies. Happy Thanksgiving! ???
