These 13 Stars All Appeared On 'Saved By The Bell' Before They Became Famous

Every episode of Saved by the Bell had a new story about the kids from Bayside and introduced us to a new memorable character or two. A handful of these actors and actresses who played small parts on the show went on to become bigger stars after the show. Here is a list of 13 celebrities who got their big break by being on the show and went on to have successful careers.

Tori Spelling

After repeatedly getting turned down by Lisa Turtle, Screech found a new love interest in the dorky new girl, Violet Bickerstaff. Tori Spelling's career was just getting ready to take off because of her role on the show 90210 when she made her appearance on Saved by the Bell.

Bridgette Wilson

Bridgette Wilson did not even get credit for the five episodes she appeared on Saved by the Bell. After the show, she went on to star in a couple of the biggest hits from the '90s, Billy Madison and Mortal Kombat.

Gabrielle Union

Gabrielle Union appeared in two different episodes of Saved by the Bell: The New Class as two different characters. She has gone on to have a spectacular career starring in several movies and having her own hit show, Being Mary Jane.

James Marsden

James Marsden played Chad Westerfield, the homecoming king, in an episode of The New Class. You know him now for his roles in Enchanted, 27 Dresses, and X-Men.

Leah Remini

Leah Remini did a seven-episode run as Stacey Carosi. Her father owned the beach club where the kids from Bayside worked during the summer. She also became Zack's love interest. You probably know her now for her role on the hit TV show The King of Queens.

Soleil Moon Frye

Ok, so maybe she already had the biggest role of her life prior to showing up on Saved by the Bell. We bet you probably didn't even recognize her when she appeared in this episode from season four. She was interested in Screech before his get-rich-quick spaghetti business failed.

Christine Taylor

Christine Taylor was best known for her role as Marcia on The Brady Bunch. She also starred in Dodgeball, but do you remember when she made an appearance on Saved by the Bell? She asked Zack to tutor her after he scored higher on his SAT than Jessie Spano.

Scott Wolf

Carla Gugino

Carla Gugino's career began back on Good Morning Miss Bliss, the show that eventually turned into Saved by the Bell. She played a 9th grader who was crushing on Zack, but she ended up dumping him when she found out he was a year behind her. Since, she has been a regular on Spin City, Californication, and Entourage. She has also starred in several hit movies.
