These Celebrity Marriages Were Shorter Than The Time It Takes To Read This Article

Marriage is hard. There is no debate there. If you're rich and famous, staying married is about a billion times more difficult. Between the rumors, paparazzi, constantly being bugged by the media and the normal issues that come with being married it's no wonder that celebs get divorced at such a high rate. The celebs on this list were married for an extremely, extremely short amount of time for a variety of interesting reasons.

1. Drew Barrymore & Tom Green

Let's start our list off with one everyone knew was doomed from the start. Way back in July 2001, this Hollywood odd couple married. A mere 163 days later, everything turned sour and they were divorced. What a way to start things off.

2. Lisa-Marie Presley & Nicolas Cage

This one might even be weirder than Presley's previous marriage to Michael Jackson. After a humongous wedding ceremony in Hawaii back in August 2002, they split up in November... OF THE SAME YEAR! The marriage lasted all of 107 days. Cage had this to say: "We shouldn't have been married in the first place." You don't say, Mr. Cage. You don't say!

3. Chad Michael Murray & Sophia Bush

Co-Starring on One Tree Hill, these guys married and divorced in a five-month span. Sophia later said: "We were two stupid kids who had no business being in a relationship in the first place." At least it didn't hurt the show, right?

4. Jennifer Lopez & Cris Judd

Let's see if you can guess how this one ended. Megastar marries unknown backup dancer. After a short period couple divorces after unknown backup dancer sufficiently leeches off of megastar's fame. Yup that's what happened here in 2001. After 218 days of being married they split.

5. Bradley Cooper & Jennifer Esposito

Do you remember this couple? They wed in December 2006 and divorced 4 months later. Cooper gave this vague explanation for the quick divorce: "It was just something that happened. The good thing is, we both realized it... Sometimes you just realize it. It just wasn't right. It's interesting... Things happen!" Thanks, Bradley. Do you think you could have been any less detailed?

6. Renée Zellweger & Kenny Chesney

Back in 2005 Zellweger and country singer, Kenny Chesney got hitched in a secluded Caribbean wedding ceremony. After 4 months the couple released this statement: "The miscommunication of the objective of their marriage at the start is the only reason for this annulment. Renée and Kenny value and respect each other and are saddened that their different objectives prevent the success of this marriage." Another one bites the dust.

7. Kid Rock & Pamela Anderson

This power couple wed on a yacht back in July 2006. After a mere 122 days together, they divorced. So much for that.

8. Nicky Hilton & Todd Meister

The lesser known Hilton sister married businessman Todd Meister in Vegas back in 2004. (We know, Vegas wedding, foreshadowing much?) Within 85 days their marriage was annulled and they acted like it never happened.

9. Mario Lopez & Ali Landry

Lasting a total of 2 weeks, Lopez admitted to cheating on Landry days before they wed and that was the end of that. He said: "It was spring break... Everybody was hanging out. That was a situation where I was not mature and man enough." At least he told the truth.

10. Carmen Electra & Dennis Rodman

These two were married for a whopping 9 days. Yes, you read that right. Dennis said that he was of unsound mind when they married in Las Vegas. Sure you were Mr. Worm. Sure you were.
