These Pics Show Why Sofia Vergara Is The Highest Paid Actress On TV

Best known today for her starring role in Modern Family as Gloria Delgado-Pritchett, some people don’t realize it but Sofia has been the highest paid actress on television for the last five years. Beating out other stars of hit sitcoms like Kaley Cuoco from The Big Bang Theory, Sofia is one of biggest stars in the medium. While she owes that fact in large part due to her comedic timing, we’d all be kidding ourselves if we tried to pretend her looks didn’t have a lot to do with it, too. Someone who actually got her first acting role on television all the way back in 1995, she has found consistent work since then. No matter what role or photo first introduced you to this Columbian-American woman, there is little question that once you behold her, it is difficult to forget her.
One of the hottest celebrities of any age or gender alive today, Sofia first started her career in media at the early age of seventeen but it took decades for her to become truly famous in North America. A long-time model and actress who has had her photo taken time and time again, she seems to have supreme confidence in her body and anyone who looks at it should be able to see why. Blessed with a body that won’t quit and the type of curves that makes the world stand at attention, there are very few people who wouldn’t enjoy a good look at what she is packing.
In order for a photo to be considered for this list, it needs to feature Sofia in one form or another but if someone else is present that does not disqualify it from potential inclusion. We are also open to screengrabs from her work as an actress, as in many cases images of actors working become their longest-lasting looks in the pop culture world.

We've already touched on the fact that Modern Family is one of the most watched shows on television at the moment, but we failed to point out that their willingness to show skin is one of the major reasons why. Sofia's character, Gloria, is regularly seen in dresses and outfits that show off her immense cleavage from any number of angles. However, while her bust is often prominently displayed, her butt is more often than not much more covered up. As a result, we fear that some misguided fools may fail to appreciate just how magnificent this actor's rear actually is.
#2 In the Waves
There is just something truly amazing about the female form when it is dripping wet. Water's ability to cascade over the skin of a beautiful woman and find its way into every crevasse of their body is something that is glorious. Actually, it is likely to get the heart of anyone who is attracted to women's heart pounding whenever they get an opportunity to watch it happen. Case in point, this photo of Sofia in the ocean wearing a white outfit that is clinging to every peak and valley of skin on her body. Of course, that is to say, nothing of the fact that white fabric as delicate as this becomes see through while wet, which is an attribute that you have to love about it while looking at this photo.
#3 Lucky Necklace
If you've ever had dreams of being a world-class photographer you need to realize that the competition is intense. While many of us fancy ourselves as being very capable of using our cameras to capture life's best moments on film, it seems like taking this photo should be very simple. Convince a woman that personifies appealing to put on a tight bikini, point your lens in her general direction, push the button and the results will be enticing right? Well, probably but that doesn't mean this shot isn't composed fantastically.
Wondering what we mean? When we first saw this photo our eyes were immediately drawn to her bare mid-riff and her entire bottom half until her large necklace and where it lies insured we next focused on her chest. The very fact that we got to enjoy this photo not only once, but three times as our eyes practically studied different areas of her body, torso, chest and face, is a testament to its perfection.
#4 Black Dress
Arguably the simplest photo to appear as part of this list of photos that prove why Vergara is the highest paid actress on TV, this 2006 Nino Munoz photo features her wearing a black dress with only a belt and zipper down the middle to set it apart. Of course, that is other than the form that it is covering, which provides the dress with the splendor of her body which, of course, is simply stunning. No one could argue with us on that fact. You probably first noticed her cleavage when looking at this photo but for us, her attribute that looks the best here has to be her hips. Here's just another rather simple shot that is somehow overcome with beauty. These photos continue to impress us, Sofia.
#5 Miller Time
In this photo, that was used as part of a promotional campaign in 2003 by Miller Lite, the idea was that we were meant to associate the pleasure of looking at it with the joy of drinking a nice cold beer. While we applaud their efforts, all we can think of while looking at this photo is hamana, hamana, hamana. After we got our lizard minds under control enough to come up with actual words, like damn and holy, for instance, we suddenly begin to realize what makes this such a great photo of Sofia. While we love everything about it, no doubt, including how great her legs, face and torso all look, it is her mid-riff that we can't stop staring at.
#6 Maxim Cleavage
The first of three photos of Sofia Vergara published by Maxim magazine that we opted to include here, this is the only one that chose to cut off her lower half which is the only reason it is so low on this list. In fact, if it weren't for the way in which her boobs are cupped which gives her cleavage an almost ethereal feel, we would have chosen a replacement that included her entirety (because it's just that perfect). Don't worry, though, if you can't muster any words beyond "wow" to say while looking at this photo, you're probably in very good company. Seems pretty obvious now why she beat Cuoco in earnings. Penny is certainly hot too, but she's no Gloria.
#7 Short Skirt
We know what you must be thinking, if that is the photograph that we chose to put in the fifteenth slot of this list, how amazing must the rest of the entries be? Well, let us tell you in advance, they all put this photo to shame, which is a truly impressive feat to say the absolute least. Wearing a dress that is cut way above the knees on what appears to be a balcony, Sofia's choice to lean back made it possible to look at her long gams in great detail. If that isn't enough for you, and it should certainly be, the fact that the angle makes it easy to imagine her lying in front of us as we gaze up at her is fantasy fodder for the ages. Wouldn't you agree?
#8 Car Model
Hot cars and hot women are a combination made in heaven and if you have never taken the time to realize that, but you absolutely should after just taking a peek at this photo. An image that appeared in Complex Magazine over 10 years ago in 2004, in it, we get to see a car with its top down and while Sofia's top is unfortunately up, it is the next best thing, revealing. Wearing a white top that redefines form fitting, her always large looking chest somehow looks even larger and more inviting than usual. Add to that, the sultry look on her face and the choice to hike up her skirt enough to put one leg on display and this photo goes to an all new level of hotness.
#9 Open Body
A photo published by Maxim in 2005, this has to be the best example we can think of Sofia, prior to her best-known role, that shows just how gorgeous this Colombian-American woman is. Wearing a fairly typical white bikini that would be considered classic or even boring on another lady's body, in this case, her choice of swimwear is pitch perfect. Accenting her hour glass figure, it shows off that she has curves in all the right places while still possessing soft and supple skin.
Furthermore, her pose of choice here, standing with her hands above her head, means that our view of her bountiful bosom is practically unobstructed, aside from the small swatches of fabric. The slight tilt of her hips to one side is incredibly alluring. Finally, the choice to have the jewelry on her neck has ensured that viewers pay attention to how elegant she manages to remain despite wearing such a small amount of clothes. In short, every aspect of this photo seems to have been intricately planned to make the results as arousing as possible, an effort that everyone involved absolutely succeeded at. Looking at the results, is there any way you can wonder what made her the obvious choice to play a sexpot like Gloria on Modern Family, which allowed her to become the highest paid actress on television.
#10 Smoking Profile
One of the most recent images on this list, the choice to take it in black and white is interesting and it somehow wasn't the first thing we noticed despite how noteworthy the choice is. Instead, we immediately were drawn to this photo of Sofia because we can see her from the side which provides us with a good idea of the actual proportions of her body. From her underrated legs to her big bust and generous backside, almost all of her body's most sought after elements are positioned in a manner that makes it easy to get full enjoyment out of beholding them.
#11 In The Sands
Despite what Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones would have you believe, sand can be one of the most enjoyable and comfortable minerals around. For instance, when lounging on a beach and lying back as the tide continuously ebbs and flows there is little in this world more relaxing and peaceful. On the other hand, there are photos like this one where sand plays a prominent role and the effect it has on us is not relaxing in the least. Looking at this snapshot in time from many years ago in Sofia's career we get to see what her nearly nude body would look like while only concealed by the beach she is lying on. Then, as we look over her body and the grains of sand that cover it, all we can think about is how envious we are of each individual speck that has become so familiar with such a superb body.

For those of you who have followed Sofia's career with great interest, as we have, you may already know that when it comes to her looks she largely seems to have gone through two phases. Well, at least when it comes to her image after she began to live her life partially in the public eye. In our minds, this photo is the perfect example of her earlier days, when she more often than not had a more stylized, makeup-heavy look.
While we have to say that we are more inclined to enjoy her later, more natural look, we'd be foolish to write off photos from when she was more youthful. Taken by Samuel Tcherassi in 1999, the year she would have turned twenty-seven, her choice of clothing is very revealing. While all of her private parts are completely covered, the rest of her outfit being see-through means we can see her mid-riff in great detail which we always love.
