#1 Bullet Ant Gloves
This is a custom followed in Satere Mawe tribe in the Amazon rainforest located in Brazil. This tribe follows a ritual since ages which requires the male population to prove its sexuality by wearing the gloves which are laced with bullet ants.
A bullet ant is known for the most preternatural sting which is obviously very painful apart from being poisonous. These ants are angered first by catching them and lacing them with some drug so that they sting with even more vigor.
And to top it all, this glove needs to be worn for 30 minutes at least at a go and this has to be done minimum 25 times!
#2 Pure Trash
In Scotland, there is a custom to pelt the would be bride and groom with rotten food trash that might also include stinky left over chicken, fish along with eggs.
It is believed that if a couple can endure this then their marriage would withstand any trouble.

#3 Banned to Pee
An Indonesian tribe Tidong is known to practice a three-day ban on the bride and the groom on using a washroom. They are supposed to stay in the same condition resisting hunger and thirst so that there is no urge to pee. This is believed to bring bad luck if not followed.
#4 Throw the Baby down
A weird custom which actually could be fatal is followed in the state of Karnataka in India when newborns are thrown amidst a crowd of thousands as a gesture to thank the goddess from whose temple they are being thrown off from a height of 50 feet!

#5 A Large Penis Walk
Yes you read it right! This is the weirdest of them all practiced in Japan in the form of a mass festival known as Kanamara Matsuri.
People walk with a giant penis and it feels like a carnival with penis-shaped goodies, candles, candies etc. are seen all around.
It is celebrated in April every year to celebrate a penis's powers.
