Thirty People Including Six Children Battling For Life After 250 Times Normal Chlorine Amount Released Into Pool Due To Negligence Of Cleaning Staff

30 people poisened due to 250 times amount of chlorine in a pool

The year 2020 is not being easy whether it may be news related to a pandemic or some other tragic incident, this year keeps giving us tough time.

Recently, due to the negligence of the staff, a very bad incident took place in Russia. School children who had been swimming in the pool were severely injured due to the increased amount of chlorine that was there in the pool.

Six children had been taken to I.C.U

Chlorine is needed in a certain amount to clear the water but here it was used 250 times more than the usual amount. There were around 30 people who were swimming, of which 21 were school children. They all have been poisoned, six children had been taken to Intensive care due to severe conditions.

They are suffering from severe breathing issues and infection in the eyes

They have suffered eye injuries and need breathing assistance after failing to breathe, said Anastasia Krotova, the region's governor's spokeswoman.

Employees are accountable for the negligence as per the officials

Employees who clean the Dynamo public swimming pool are accountable for the chlorine mistake, officials said.

Pool had been closed and the emergency workers had been seen in hazmat suits

After the incident, the pool had been closed and the emergency workers were seen wearing hazmat suits. Chlorine is used in a certain amount to kill bacteria however if used in a huge quantity can be hazardous.
