Daycare centers aren't always the best place for your baby. This couple learned this in a hard way. There were 8-10 injuries on their 7-month old girl's face.
This Couple Was Bewildered After Seeing Injuries On Their Baby's Face And The Truth Behind It Is Horrifying.
Tracy Blinov and her husband were horrified when they saw the injuries on their baby's face.
Tracy Blinov and her husband live in Missoula, Montana. They enrolled their 7-month old baby in a daycare center "Busy Hands." That was where their horror story begin.
Tracy and her husband picked up their baby from the daycare center on Friday. That was when they noticed the numerous injuries on their baby's face. The staff told them that the baby had been bitten by a two-year old toddler.
They wanted to know what happened.
The couple was horrified. They demanded to see the camera footage so that they can know the whole situation.
Tracy wrote on her Facebook page:“I don’t get it. I never will. Who lets this kind of thing happen? I Let Eliana go to Busy Hands, and in less than 2 hours both sides of her face have been severely bitten and scratched by another child.”
She was really heartbroken by all this. She said that she understands kids can sometimes be kids. She never knew it was something so serious and dangerous, the staff made it sound like it was just one bite mark.
They initially didn't know it was something very serious.
From what it was seen in the camera footage, the two-year-old toddler was seen bitting baby Eliana for one minute and 29 seconds before the staff came to the rescue. No sound can be heard but the baby was kicking her legs in distress.
Tracy wrote on her facebook page, “The staff member belligerently lied in her incident report. Someone (unsure of who) took it so far as to lie to police about what happened by trying to claim we said/did things that absolutely 2000% never happened (like threaten violence, let’s be clear we DID NOT DO ANYTHING LIKE THAT).”
The staff's attitude was irresponsible.
The baby care center's owner said that they didn't know that the toddler is a biter. They didn't know that the toddler was expelled out from the daycare center "Little Griz" for the same reason a week before this incident.
The owner said: "If that would have been told to us, we could have said ‘No, we can’t take her.’ ”
Although it's very dangerous for the other babies to be around such toddlers, on the other side we can't expel these toddlers too because they also need care and love. It's staff's responsibility to have a strict eye on each and every child and prevent such incidents. Take the care of all the babies because that is what their duty is!
What's your opinion? Should this daycare center be shut down because of its neglection?
