#1 Here’s a breakup:

First, situate the gift diagonally, rather than straight. You'll want it sitting so that the paper can go all the way up the side when folded at an angle.

Then, pull that same side up so that a crease forms at a right angle along with the corner of the box.

Then, use your fingers to fold perpendicular to the crease so that you're creating a flap. It may seem a little tricky, but if you've got this part down, you're almost there!

Then, pull up the bottom side to cover the entirety of that side of the box. Imagine you're sort of working around the gift in a circular movement. Tape it down when you're done!

Almost done, right? The broad side will fold up and you'll tape it, leaving you with just one side left.

#3 You’re going to fold the indent/flap thing on BOTH sides of the remaining end, then fold that flap up as well, taping it when you’re done.
